Before reaching the lake, we trekked through the snow with snowshoes, adding an extra layer of winter magic to the journey.

Grab some ski gear and slide through the snow with Lapland's stunning winter scenes all around you. For those seeking a different experience, the area also offers cross-country skiing. Jake and I tried out cross-country skiing and found it an entertaining way to explore the serene landscapes and add lots of fun to our winter getaway.


Where To Stay

We recommend staying at Pyhä Igloos. Staying there was like living the Arctic dream! Tucked into the snowy wonderland, these igloos weren't just about sleeping under the stars – they brought the luxe with a sauna and a private Whirlpool for an extra charge. The additional cabin, equipped with a fireplace, offered a cozy setting to gather around, roast sausages, and sit in the warmth of the fire.
