There are endless options of places to visit and things to do in Perth. For a relaxing day at the beach, head to Cottlesloe Beach to watch local surfers catching waves. If you want a unique dining experience, check out the Wildflower restaurant, which serves unique seasonal dishes. If you are craving a good coffee or cold beer, you have plenty of cafes and microbreweries to choose from in Perth. The town of Esperance is considered to have one of the most beautiful beaches in Australia. This small town is host to a beautiful bay with sparkling turquoise water and soft white sand, making it a popular spot for swimming, sunbathing, and surfing. Furthermore, the Esperance coast is also a nesting ground for turtles; and although rare, visitors can often see these gentle creatures swimming offshore.

Esperance Beach is an eight-hour drive from Perth, although it is well worth it!

Traveler Tip: Head to Lucky Bay during dusk or dawn for your chance to spot a family of kangaroos playing in the sand.

Albany is well known for its remote beaches, picturesque coastline, untouched nature reserves, and rich history. There are also unique wineries in Albany, such as Oranje Tractor Wine. This winery uses organic principles in its vineyard, thus avoiding the use of chemicals to produce its wine.

Furthermore, if you visit Albany between May to October, you will have the opportunity to spot humpback whales from Middleton Beach.

If you are looking for a relaxing destination away from the loud city life, Albany is the place to go.
